Refund policy
Effective October 6, 2026. One clear 14-calendar-day window for a full refund of any MikaHosting purchase.
This Refund Policy explains when and how ECOMMIKA LLC, operating as MikaHosting, returns a payment. It applies to every web hosting plan and cloud server purchased directly from MikaHosting and forms part of our Terms of Service. If the Terms and this policy differ about a refund, this policy controls.
1. Your 14-calendar-day refund right
You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the purchase date. This is one fixed window for every customer, every purchase, every monthly or annual billing interval, and every web hosting or cloud server plan.
A valid request made within the 14-calendar-day window receives the full amount paid for that purchase. We do not deduct setup fees, cancellation fees, usage charges or processing costs from the refund.
2. Exactly when the window starts and ends
Day one is the calendar date shown as the purchase date on your receipt and invoice. The window ends at 11:59 p.m. in your local time on the fourteenth calendar day. Weekends and public holidays count. The timestamp on your dashboard ticket records when you submitted the request.
3. Purchases covered
The same full-refund right applies to:
- monthly web hosting purchases;
- annual web hosting purchases;
- monthly cloud server purchases;
- annual cloud server purchases;
- renewal purchases; and
- separately charged plan upgrades.
Each charge has its own 14-calendar-day window beginning on the purchase date shown for that charge.
4. How to request a refund
- Sign in to your MikaHosting dashboard.
- Open a new support ticket within 14 calendar days of the purchase date.
- Select the relevant billing or refund topic.
- State that you want a full refund and include the invoice number.
Support is staffed 24/7. A phone call, live chat or letter is not required or accepted for a refund request. The dashboard ticket gives both you and us a dated record attached to the correct account.
5. What happens after your request
We match the invoice to your account and confirm that the ticket was submitted within the 14-calendar-day window. A request submitted within that window is approved for the full purchase amount. The confirmation is recorded in your dashboard and sent to your account email.
6. Service access and data
Access to the refunded hosting plan or cloud server ends when the refund is approved. Its assigned resources are released and its hosted data may be deleted. Download any content and backups you need before requesting the refund. A refund does not automatically close other services or your MikaHosting account.
7. Refund amount and destination
- Amount: the full amount paid for the purchase shown on the invoice.
- Currency: the refund is issued in the transaction currency shown on the invoice.
- Destination: the refund is returned to the original payment method.
- Deductions: no setup, cancellation, usage or refund-processing fee is deducted.
8. Processing timeline
We submit the full refund to the original payment method within 14 calendar days after receiving your request. Your bank or payment service controls when the returned amount appears in your account and may require additional processing time after we submit it.
9. Refund records
The refund status and amount appear in your dashboard billing history. We also send confirmation to your account email. Keep the ticket number and invoice for your records. If the returned amount is not visible after your bank's normal processing period, reply to the same ticket so the complete history remains in one place.
10. Refunds and cancellations are different
A refund request asks us to return a specific payment and ends the refunded service when approved. A cancellation only stops the next renewal: without a refund request, the service remains online until the end of the current paid period and no payment is returned. You may cancel at any time and resume before the paid period ends.
11. After the refund window
The full-refund request must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the relevant purchase date. After that window, you can still cancel the subscription at any time to stop its next renewal. The service then remains available through the end of the period already paid for.
12. Failed or duplicate charges
If you believe a charge was duplicated, processed incorrectly or does not match an order in your dashboard, open a billing ticket promptly and include the invoice or transaction details visible to you. We will trace the payment and record the outcome in the ticket. This billing review does not reduce the 14-calendar-day full-refund right described above.
13. Account and payment security
We may ask you to confirm account ownership before discussing billing details or processing a refund. This protects your account and does not change the refund window: a ticket submitted on time remains recorded as submitted on time while ownership is confirmed. Never place complete card or bank account numbers in a support ticket.
14. Policy changes
We will give at least 30 days' notice by account email before a change that reduces refund rights. A purchase keeps the Refund Policy that was in effect on its purchase date. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
15. Company and contact details
- Legal entity: ECOMMIKA LLC
